Located in a former coal production and porcelain manufacturing village of Pinxton in Derbyshire, the vacant plot that our approved family home occupies formally received approval for a 4 bedroom detached dwelling in June 2021. 

 

The originally approved design was in need of significant design improvements to its layout and general elevational aesthetics but the expiration of planning approval was fast approaching.

Our client approached us with a tight deadline in April 2024 to revise the originally approved design, get formal approval under a non-material amendment application, prepare a set of working construction drawings, register the approved scheme with building control and then break ground for concrete foundations to be set all before the critical application approval end date of 4th June 2024. 

​

A calm and collected but speedy approach was taken to achieve our client's desired outcome, all targets were comfortably met.
