Application Reference 13/00968/FUL — Rushcliffe Borough Council Approved 24th Jun 2013 Although planning approval and initial construction for this two-storey extension were completed in 2013, the project holds particular significance as one of our very earliest commissions. The extension added both bedroom and living space to the original dwelling, carefully proportioned to integrate with the existing structure and contribute positively to the street. The project remained with the client for seven years before a thorough programme of renovation and redecoration was undertaken in 2020, ahead of sale. Throughout that period the extension performed exactly as intended — standing well, developing no defects, and providing the improved living conditions the client had sought from the outset. Revisiting the completed home in its renewed state reinforced the fundamental quality of both the design and the construction. We remain proud of this early project; the care and diligence it required established principles that continue to guide every commission we take on.
